Acquiri vs Modernize for stairlift leads.
Modernize is a US home-improvement lead marketplace that sells stair lift leads to contractors. Acquiri books phone-qualified home visits for stairlift dealers from Meta campaigns run for your business. Both can put a stairlift enquiry in front of you. The difference is what you receive and who has spoken to the person first. Modernize's own pages were not available to our checks on 10 October 2026, so this page states what is public on Trustpilot and gives you the questions to put to Modernize.
When to choose which
Choose Acquiri if
Your customers are over 60, you want exclusive appointments already called and checked, and you want the fee tied to sales rather than to a count of leads.
Choose Modernize if
You want to buy leads on a marketplace, your own team calls every lead fast, and you sell in the US.
A marketplace lead or a booked visit
A marketplace sells homeowner enquiries to contractors. Your team still has to reach the person, qualify them and book the visit.
Acquiri is built around the booked home visit. Our call team rings every enquiry within 5 minutes, checks age, home ownership, staircase type, decision-maker and timing, and only then books the visit into your calendar.
What the public record shows
On Trustpilot, Modernize Home Services showed a TrustScore of 2.3 from 1,212 reviews when we checked on 10 October 2026. Reviews change daily, so read the recent ones yourself before you decide.
We have not stated Modernize pricing, lead exclusivity or contract terms because we could not verify them from its own pages. Ask for all three in writing.
What we have observed with Acquiri
In the observed Acquiri cohort (two US home-accessibility dealers (stairlifts and home access), 12 July to 9 October 2026 (last 90 days)), $4,477.78 of client-funded Meta ad spend produced 79 leads with a valid phone number and 30 booked home appointments (38% of leads), an ad cost of $149 per booked appointment. The two dealers ranged from $92 to $380. US dollars, ad spend only, excluding Acquiri's fee. Two dealers over 90 days is a small sample.
Questions to ask either provider
Before you buy stairlift enquiries from anyone, ask:
- Is the enquiry sold to anyone else in my area, and to how many?
- Does anyone call the homeowner before I do, and what do they check?
- What is the pricing model, and is there a minimum spend or deposit?
- Am I charged if the number is wrong or the homeowner does not answer?
- What happens if the leads do not turn into sales?
