Why walk-in bath leads go wrong
A walk-in bath is a considered, high-value purchase. Many enquiries come from someone researching for a parent, from renters who cannot fit one, or from people who want a price and nothing else.
A bare lead tells you none of that. Your designer or salesperson finds out in the home, after the drive.
What to qualify before a consultation is booked
A walk-in bath or walk-in tub lead is worth a visit when the call confirms:
- The person is over 55 and the bath is for them or a close relative they live with.
- They own the home, or the owner agrees.
- The bathroom can take a walk-in bath or tub, and a space and plumbing check passes on the call.
- The decision-maker will be at the consultation.
- They are looking now, not in a year.
Exclusive vs shared walk-in bath leads
Shared leads are sold to several companies at once, so speed and price decide who gets the visit. Exclusive leads are yours alone but still need calling and checking.
A booked consultation is the stage after both. Someone has called, checked and agreed a time, and the appointment is yours.
What we have observed so far
In the observed Acquiri cohort (two US home-accessibility dealers (stairlifts and home access), 12 July to 9 October 2026 (last 90 days)), $4,477.78 of client-funded Meta ad spend produced 79 leads with a valid phone number and 30 booked home appointments (38% of leads), an ad cost of $149 per booked appointment. The two dealers ranged from $92 to $380. US dollars, ad spend only, excluding Acquiri's fee. Two dealers over 90 days is a small sample.
This cohort is stairlift and home-access dealers, not walk-in bath businesses. It shows how phone qualification turns leads into booked home appointments in the over-60s market. It is not a walk-in bath figure.
Illustrative planning ranges
For planning only, a qualified walk-in bath consultation costs about £80 to £200 to generate in the UK and a walk-in tub consultation about $110 to $250 in the US. These are scenarios, not averages, and not Acquiri's fee.
Acquiri charges a service fee for a three-month engagement, quoted on the qualification call. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta and is separate from our service fee.
