Stairlift appointment setting · UK and US

Stairlift appointments for dealers: what is booked, what is qualified, what to measure.

A stairlift appointment is a home visit booked with a person who has been checked on the phone. Booked and qualified are different things. A dealer should judge any appointment setter on both, and on what happens after the visit.

    Short answer

Stairlift appointment setting means someone else calls your enquiries, checks age, home ownership, staircase type, whether the decision-maker is involved, and timescale, and books the home visit into your calendar. A booked appointment is in the diary. A qualified appointment passed those checks before it was booked. Acquiri sets stairlift appointments for dealers in the UK and US from its own Meta campaigns.

Booked is not the same as qualified

A booked appointment only tells you someone agreed to a time. It says nothing about whether they own the home, have a staircase that suits a stairlift, or have the person who decides in the room.

A qualified appointment passed the phone checks before it was booked. That is what protects your surveyor's day. Ask every provider which one they are counting.

    How phone qualification works

Our call team rings every enquiry within 5 minutes and checks:

    • Age and who the stairlift is for.
    • Home ownership, or permission from whoever owns the home.
    • Staircase type: straight or curved, and the number of flights.
    • Whether the decision-maker will be there, including a family member who helps decide.
    • Timescale: looking now, or looking around.
    • Address and a confirmed visit slot that suits your calendar.

    What a dealer should measure

Enquiry counts flatter everyone. These are the numbers that tell you whether appointment setting is working:

    • Cost per booked appointment, with ad spend and any fee shown separately.
    • Booked appointments as a share of leads with a valid phone number.
    • The outcome of each visit, recorded by your surveyor: completed, no one home, rescheduled, quoted, sold.
    • Cost per sale, because a cheaper appointment that rarely sells costs more than a dearer one that does.
    • Time from enquiry to first call.

What we have observed so far

In the observed Acquiri cohort (two US home-accessibility dealers (stairlifts and home access), 12 July to 9 October 2026 (last 90 days)), $4,477.78 of client-funded Meta ad spend produced 79 leads with a valid phone number and 30 booked home appointments (38% of leads), an ad cost of $149 per booked appointment. The two dealers ranged from $92 to $380. US dollars, ad spend only, excluding Acquiri's fee. Two dealers over 90 days is a small sample.

We publish booked appointments only. Outcomes after the visit depend on your surveyor recording them, so we do not publish them as a cohort number.

    Illustrative planning ranges

For planning only, a qualified stairlift home survey costs about £70 to £160 to generate in the UK and $90 to $200 in the US. These are scenarios, not averages, and not Acquiri's fee.

Acquiri charges a service fee for a three-month engagement, quoted on the qualification call. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta and is separate from our service fee.

Booked means a time is in the diary. Qualified means the person passed phone checks before it was booked. A booked appointment can be unqualified; a qualified one has been checked.

Yes. Every appointment Acquiri books for you comes from campaigns run for your business and is not sold to anyone else.

Record the outcome of every visit: completed, no one home, rescheduled, quoted or sold. That is the data that lets you judge cost per sale, and only your surveyors can record it.

In our observed US cohort it was $149 of ad spend per booked appointment, across a range of $92 to $380. US dollars, ad spend only, excluding Acquiri's fee, two dealers over 90 days.

Acquiri charges a service fee for a three-month engagement, quoted on the qualification call. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta and is separate from our service fee. If the sales from our appointments haven't covered our fee by day 90, you don't pay again until they have.
