What a stairlift marketing agency should actually do
Stairlift buyers are older homeowners, often decide with a son or daughter, and rarely search for a stairlift the way younger buyers search for a product. Marketing that works for this buyer has six jobs, and an agency that stops at the first one is selling you traffic.
- Reach the right people: ads aimed at older homeowners and the family members who decide with them, in your service area.
- Capture real details: a landing page where the person types their own name and number, so the data is theirs and not an auto-filled guess.
- Call fast: every enquiry rung within 5 minutes, while they still remember asking.
- Qualify on the phone: age, home ownership, staircase type, whether the decision-maker is involved, and timescale.
- Book the visit: a confirmed home appointment in your calendar, not a name to chase.
- Track outcomes: what happened to each appointment, so you can judge the work on sales and not on enquiry counts.
How Acquiri's system works
The system is the same in the UK and the US. The wording, the offers and the regulation notes change by market.
- Meta ads: creative built for the over-60s buyer and the family member helping them, targeted to your service area.
- Custom landing pages: no Facebook auto-fill forms. People enter their own details, which is where bad data usually comes from.
- Speed to lead: our call team rings every enquiry within 5 minutes to confirm intent and address.
- Qualification: we check age, home ownership, staircase type, whether the decision-maker is involved, and timescale before any visit is booked.
- Booked home visits: confirmed into your calendar, with the answers from the call attached.
- Outcome tracking: appointments are followed through so the numbers you see are about results, not activity.
Why no auto-fill forms
Auto-fill forms let someone submit with two taps. That is great for volume and poor for intent. Names get mistyped, numbers are old, and the person often does not remember filling the form in.
A custom landing page asks the person to type. Fewer people finish it, and the ones who do are easier to reach and easier to qualify. We would rather call fewer people who meant it than many who did not.
What we have observed so far
In the observed Acquiri cohort (two US home-accessibility dealers (stairlifts and home access), 12 July to 9 October 2026 (last 90 days)), $4,477.78 of client-funded Meta ad spend produced 79 leads with a valid phone number and 30 booked home appointments (38% of leads), an ad cost of $149 per booked appointment. The two dealers ranged from $92 to $380. US dollars, ad spend only, excluding Acquiri's fee. Two dealers over 90 days is a small sample.
That is one small cohort in one market. Your area, your offer and your response speed will move the numbers. Use it as a reference point for the questions to ask, not as a promise.
Questions to ask any stairlift marketing agency
Before you sign with anyone, ask:
- Who calls the enquiry, and how quickly?
- What does the caller check before booking a visit?
- Is the enquiry sold to anyone else in my area?
- Do you report booked appointments and what happened to them, or only enquiries?
- What is the real cost per booked appointment, with ad spend and fees shown separately?
- What happens if the appointments do not turn into sales?
How Acquiri charges
Acquiri charges a service fee for a three-month engagement, quoted on the qualification call. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta and is separate from our service fee.
If the sales from our appointments haven't covered our fee by day 90, you don't pay again until they have.
